Bassinets or Cradles . A bassinet provides a snug, secure first environment. It offers the convenience of being able to be  moved around the house,  for the first few weeks, when new mums are nervous and baby is establishing patterns of sleeping and feeding. Of the several styles of bassinet on the market .. Little Rooms by carlee stocks the Gro-corp cane styles and soft fabric styles from Hush Bubba and Kidsline. The fabric design has the advantage of collapsing for storage. A cradle has the same convenience as a bassinet but is slighly larger, lasting  the baby longer.

Our feature cradle is from Sunbury and comes in white or timber stains, cane bassinet from Gro Corp is dressed in Calico Friends linen and the soft fabric bassinet is from H& R.

Cots and Cot beds.  Baby will be ready for a cot by around three months but most parents will have purchased and set this up before birth too. Styles are many and prices varied and your choice will be dictated by your own personal taste and budget. Remember this is where your little one will sleep for two to four years depending on the purchase of a cot only or one that converts to a junior bed. The benefit of the cot bed is that you get extra use out of all your cot linen.

Change Tables.  Not everyone decides to have a specific change table. At Little Rooms by carlee we find that many parents prefer a change table that can be used as a piece of furniture in later years and many of our choices reflect this multi purpose.The Susman company makes a great basket filled chest with a removable change pad on top... when finished as a change table it just becomes a lovely toy or clothing storage unit.

Nursery shelves. Most mums needs shelving in the nursery to display their babies lovely gifts or just for linen. Sunbury. Mali and Grocorp all make  furniture pieces for this purpose which will last your child to their teen years if necessary.
